Roger Pibernat

Roger Pibernat is an illustrator, musician, programmer, and technological artist. He was a member of the Barcelona Laptop Orchestra and is a co-founder of the collective Wú, with whom he creates audiovisual performances (such as the musical direction of the show Històries Elèctriques at the Auditori), electroacoustic instruments, and experimental software. He developed the live coding language Živa during a residency at Ljudmila (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and, along with Glen Fraser, the real-time animation system Animatron. He has also contributed to TidalCycles with the “Superfm” synthesizer. Currently, he is an active member of the live coding community in Barcelona, and part of the management and production team responsible for various collective activities.
