In words of the artist: “Dialogar is an installation that invites people to reflect on the importance of dialogue to resolve our differences and to generate debate and reflection. Dialogar is a metaphor for the importance of making all voices visible for a more balanced and attentive society.
The work consists of two inflatable giant tongues that rest on the building of the Casa de las Letras and that light up depending on the amount of sound, of words of the people in the square in dialogue. More people, more voices, more intensity of light. Dialogue!”
Axolot collaborated on the technical proposal and solutions for the interaction design as well as the physical microphone totems design and fabrication.
